Newly remodelled and a decent size room with views overlooking the laguna, good offer. Magnificent and gorgeous location, just walking distance from everywhere. Amazing pool, parking outside.
Hair in the room.

Fab location, and meals were high quality!!!
The room itself was well-maintained and had unforgettable views of the sunset. Location: the hotel was not far from a convenience store, retail shops and restaurants and the restaurant and The Market Place.

Huge and complete resort in all aspects. One of the best I have seen.
There is no transfer to and from the hotel from airport or anywhere, and the only way to move around the island are taxis which cost 5 times than those in Bangkok! Do rent a car if you move once every day including airport and you have some kind of experience in driving left side. From the moment you step out of the hotel you have to pay minimum 1000 Bah for transportation (two way), and this is how much a small car costs per day. Pool hours are also very limited. They informed us that pool closes at 17.00, however, we saw people swimming after 18.00 so I don’t know if we were wrongly informed or what. In any case, 17.00 is to early! Restaurants are rather expensive for Thailand.

Beautiful and lovely location in Bang Tao Beach, not far from being over the lagoon and the beach club and the restaurants and around the pools. Well furnished and brand-new room with breathtaking views of the sunset.

The rooms were extremely pleasant and nicely furnished, with a terrace. It was in a beautiful location close to local markets and beachfront restaurants. - I appreciated the hot beverages at Albatross Cafe.

Loved the resort and the close proximity to the beach and local beachfront restaurants/bars/market stalls and of course the fabulous massage area was good value. Also liked being able to jump on a boat/shuttle bus to other hotels within the Laguna.
Where do I start, we decided to treat ourselves and book a Luxury pool access room which didn't come cheap as well as another room on the floor above for our son. Imagine our disappointment when from the first night people were drinking and smoking in the pool right outside our balcony, making lots of noise, even families with young children swimming at 11pm at night. We complained to reception 3 times before anything was done. Next morning got a 7.30 am wake up call to check out, not happy! After a few rowdy nights of people in the pool till late things quietened down. Sadly this didn't last when the wedding party from hell arrived and we were woken early hours by someone on our balcony who was very drunk, urinating into the plants we yelled at them to go away but they continued playing frisby at 3.30am. Again took 3 phone calls before anyone did anything. Next day it was carnage in the pool area with beer bottles, cigarette butts all over the place and nobody bothered to clear it up. We were extremely disappointed at the lack of security and would not return. We stayed here 7 years ago when Sheraton ran the hotel and never had a problem like this.

the villa was beautiful and very spacious, luxuriously beautiful domain
no washing machine available (as in other accommodations) no dishcloth available for dishwashing in the villa, staff came several times to make beds / light candles /maintain the garden /.... which in turn held back privacy.

Great location to explore areas outside the hotel grounds. It was a pleasant surprise to find Bar Xana Beach Club just 2 km away, a nice spot to hang out at 🌴.

I have stayed at this hotel 11 times. The new owners seem to have made a great effort to improve the facilities and its staff. The Sheraton site was pretty well run down last time we visited ( 2010). Breakfast good and the visit of the elephant Lucky was very popular (Important feature!)
The restaurants are too expensive for what they offer while the beach restaurants are quite complemantory and covers well this gap, but it is sad to see the restaurants in the hotel mostly empty in the evening. It was indiocated on my reservation and the room that there was one massage included, this turned out not to be the case.
